Trappin’

Since we all need therapy after Episode 2, we thought it’d be appropriate to visit the good Dr. Irabu in what is perhaps the most experimental anime of 2009, Kuuchuu Buranko Trapeze.  Director Kenji Nakamura brings a distinctly Yuasa-ian style to this episodic, empathetic comedy that has a whole bunch to say about mental illness.  But, is the show just what the doctor ordered, or is this well-intentioned project too flawed to recommend?  Click dat play button, and find out.
