WMC is Moving!

…to Full Frontal!

Well, this is the end, beautiful friends. After more than four years, this is Wave Motion Cannon’s final post. It’s been a lot of fun. There were a lot of great memories and dear friends made along the way. We saw a lot of shows come and go, translated a slew of interviews, and shared plenty of laughs with podcasts – but all good things must come to an end. We’d like to thank each and every one of you who made this journey with us. Wave Motion Cannon wouldn’t have been anything without you.

But I feel we did what we set out to do. And although it’s bitter sweet to be writing this, I have no regrets. All the staff who wrote here at one time have now moved on with their projects and have done quite well for themselves. Leaving me with an emotion I never thought I’d have: pride. Proud of what we accomplished, the passions we shared, but most importantly the lessons we learned and the people we became along the way. Sure, it’s cliche, but those are my feelings.

As such, I will be leaving to write for Full Frontal! They are very much in the same vein as WMC, carrying out the same work, carrying the same passion as I did when I started this site. They are, I feel, the spiritual successor to the same endeavor! So please lend them your support in the same way you have WMC all these years.

Hopefully we’ve left you with some good memories. So, until we meet again, stay gold. Bang.

  1. Thanks for everything you’ve done on Wave Motion Cannon. I had some of my best readings here. I hope that all the posts will have a new home if WMC is closing. Have a nice trip and take care.

  2. Thank you so much for posting my amateur translations for these time. I guess what to do now that I have more free time to translate interviews.

  3. I’m glad I found this site when I did! I’ve learned a ton reading through the editorials, translations, and reviews, most especially from reading the inspired discussions in the comments section. Although I’m sad to see I arrived right at the tail end of WMC’s lifespan, I’m extremely grateful for the rich history of posts that has educated me so much!
